SOS Title: Scruff Counsellor
KATIE’S Save Our Scruff story dates all the way back to 2013, when she joined as a foster. At the time, she didn’t know what her future held, but two things she knew for certain: she wanted to travel, and she wanted a dog (OK or 10). So fostering felt like the perfect way to bring a dog into her life without the long-term commitment. Fifteen Save Our Scruff fosters later, and all the learning and growth that came with that process, and today she is a Scruff Counsellor.
Outside of Save Our Scruff, Katie enjoys singing, hot yoga, snackin’ on plant-based food, and cyber-stalking her previous fosters.
