Save Our Scruff does not receive any financial support for this important work from federal, or local government agencies. We rely solely on donations from members of our compassionate, animal-loving community. There are several ways you can support us, including making a donation or donating supplies.

How Your Donation Helps
INTAKES
With your help, we can bring in strays found on the streets, those rescued from cruelty and requiring extra care and rehabilitation, and surrendered scruffs whose owners can no longer care for them due to unforeseen barriers.
VETTING
Rescue is expensive, not to mention the costs of vetting! Your donation goes directly towards vet exams, treatment, and any required medication due to urgent medical needs, untreated and/or neglected conditions.
TRAINING
Training begins the moment we meet these oh so sweet scruffs. When it comes to donations, you’re directly supporting these dogs in putting their best paw forward to set them up for success.

DONATE SUPPLIES
Running a rescue organization isn’t cheap. We are so grateful for any donation made, whether it be cash, dog food, toys, collars and leashes, or donating your time to our cause.
The following supplies are always needed:
- Unopened, unexpired bulk dog food
- Unopened, unexpired dog treats
- Martingale Collars
- Standard or waist leashes (Retractable not accepted)

DONATE YOUR CAR
Donate a Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for Save Our Scruff. Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to Save Our Scruff through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age and location). Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for Save Our Scruff to benefit. After your vehicle donation is complete, you will receive a tax receipt and we will put your gift to good use. Please click here to donate a vehicle.
